Susan took the beer and took a healthy pull. "While she was sleeping, hmm? Wonder what it's about," she teased right back.
She let out a pleased hum as Justin spoke, nodding slightly. At least that was agreed upon. She never wanted to impose. At his question, she shrugged, taking another sip of the ale. "Not particularly. Apparently there may be some people that think that Marlene and I are... a thing. We're not, by the way," she added, ignoring the way her cheeks warmed. Marlene was her aunt's lover, not that she felt like she could really tell anyone. Sure, she had told Gellert, but no one would believe him anyway. She didn't want to go blabbing her aunt's secret. "I don't really have any interest in anyone, just to be clear. I just enjoy having Marlene here. She... knew my aunt, and it's almost like having a little bit of family here again."
