Here Justin was trying to be nonchalant and subdued, and she was still impressed. He wondered what she would have said if he'd had the money and the means to go all out? "I have to say, even though we're stuck here, the beach is rather nice. What better way to spend a night on a beach than with a private hideaway?"
Being in a constant state of anticipation was what Justin loved most about getting to know someone. Finding things out about them that surprised him, permitting himself to perform odd gestures of affection, whether it was friendly or otherwise. He was all about 'that' process. Only smiling when Demi said her hands were getting back to normal, he was glad to hear it. "Only minimal amount of occupational hazards now?"
"I can't take all the credit for the meal though. I procured it from the diner." He confessed, comically lowering his voice and playing up any kind of boyish charm he still had left. "Once I do manage to find lobsters, we'll have them here on the beach."
He'd cracked open his own water, possibly saving the ale for later, and posed another question. "I'm wondering, you're a Healer and all, is it a myth that you have to wait after eating before you can go swimming? More accurately, would you like to eat first, or swim first?"
