No doubt by the end of the evening, Justin would merely have to sniff out the smell of cigars and he would find his father. He would definitely be shocked if he couldn't find at least one.
Justin himself was all set for the ball. He had his blue suit that, admittedly, he'd even skipped a few meals to afford, but he thought that if he was there for an undetermined amount of time, this wouldn't be the first ball, and he could transfigure the suit to be a different colour if needs be.
"He was quite charming at large social gatherings like that, or so I'm told." A suave individual such as his father drew a lot of attention and it would probably be the case the next evening as well. Demelza's reaction to his invitation wasn't altogether unexpected. Justin kept a calm smile on his face when he'd explained further. "I thought I'd ask because we have a good time together, so why not have a nice night at the ball." Kindly smiling once again, he sidled up closer to her and tried to convince Demi further to step out with him for one night. "Besides, we'll put everyone to shame with our debutante ball dancing. I don't want to pass that up, do you?"
