"You SO have back probs," she grinned leaning over to hand him his wand. "I guess you need this to summon the brigade." She glanced at katie and lowered her voice. "It's okay. She probably looks heavier than she is. I'd promise not to tell but..."
Katie, meanwhile, was coming around, the muffled voices waking her up. Her eyes fluttered open and she groaned, rubbing her throbbing forehead. Where was she? Was- everything flooded her mind and she sat up, instantly regretting the rapid motion.
"Fred?" She murmured, eyes wide as her gaze slowly slid to the bed next to her. "Is that-"
She couldn't even say it. It was too much. Her kid. Her son. She couldn't take her eyes off him as she drank in the sight of her child.
