Who: George and Angelina
What: Probably a blow up
Where: The fair
When: Monday
Rating: Uh there will probably be a lot of cussing at least
Angelina knew she was being unfair, but dammit, she couldn't help it. Sure, this place was amazing in a lot of ways. Fred was here! And then her kids, who were kickass, and tons of other people she thought she would never see again. But it also fucking blew in a lot more ways. After all, back home, it hadn't been too terribly long since Katie had admitted to her on again and off again... whatever she had going with George. That had been a lot to swallow, but she had gotten over it for the most part. Katie was figuring out a life of her own, and that could be forgotten. But when she got here, she could tell something was off. Angelina tried not to be too hung up on it though, and never really considered her actions of sitting on George's lap half the night and feeding him shots with her own mouth. That was just... that was normalcy to her, and the fact it was anything but didn't cross her mind.
But finding Katie handcuffed in her shack like she had on her friend's birthday... Well, Angelina was no fucking stranger to that kind of kink. And with the knowledge of George and Katie's past fresh in her mind from home, and the way her friend looked at her with guilt when she had walked in on that... well it was pretty easy to put two and two together. Angie may have sucked at math, but basic arithmetic was something she could handle. And while she understood she had no right to be upset, she couldn't help it. Sure, them being together or whatever would have been a giant slap in the face, but then she wouldn't have acted like she did the first night she had gotten here.
And then there were her own personal feelings rumbling under the surface, and she had to continually ask herself if everyone had known but her...
She felt like she was on the receiving end of a bad joke, and she hated that. So... she did the only think she knew would piss off George the most - she stopped talking to him. After years of being friends with Katie and George, that was the only sure fire way to really get under their skin, especially the latter. And it seemed to be working, because when they had spent the day together as a family, she had made it a point to never directly address him, or talk to him. Her full attention was elsewhere, and she knew that he had figured it out by now.
It was a win in her book, but at the same time, she wasn't a total monster. So when she had caught sight of George half stumbling away from the swings where Olivia was playing, she sighed audibly before rolling her eyes and took off after his stupid arse. After all, back home, his vertigo was something she was no stranger to. She had been there when he had to deal with it the first time around, and this George was younger... there was a good chance he hadn't actually gotten a handle on it yet. Eventually when they were out of the direct vicinity of the fair she had caught up with him, and without so much as a word, merely a sound of annoyance, she wrapped her arm around his waist and put his other over her shoulder, leading him towards the ice cream shop.
But fuck, she still wasn't going to talk to him. Nope. Not at all. No way....
