WHO: Logan and Jean
WHEN: Monday Evening
WHERE: A drive along the coast
WHAT: Talking
WARNINGS: None at the moment
There wasn't much in this world that surprised Logan anymore. He was old and had seen it all, and quite frankly he was getting a little tired of it. No, he wouldn't go and do anything stupid like kill himself (he wasn't sure if he could, really), but sometimes he felt a little stagnant. It was why he enjoyed taking the impromptu missions with Carol, and going off on his own. He'd been doing more of both lately, and yet he was always back to the school in time to get his classes going.
And despite all of that he found that when he looked at Jean he was surprised that she was there, actually there in the school. Not that resurrection was a new thing when it came to her, but the last time felt so final. He had actually attempted to move on. And all of that started to backpedal the moment he saw her. Maybe that was what shocked Logan the most, the fact that she could do that to him. Still. After all of these years.
He wanted to have a normal relationship with her. Jean was still dealing with the douchebag Scott, and trying to get caught up on everything that had happened in the time she was gone. He didn't think that jumping into anything with her was a good idea, but things with her were effortless. It was like no time had passed between them at all. Maybe they could both move forward now.
Logan made his way to Jean's room with a helmet in hand. He knocked on the door a couple of time and when it opened he grinned. "Wanna go for a ride," he asked as he pushed the helmet in her direction. "Won't take long. Just thought you might need to unwind a bit."
