WHO: Steve & Deadpool WHEN: Backdated to 6.26 WHERE: Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters WHAT: Steve is waiting for Bucky and meets a fan. WARNINGS: You know, Deadpool so language.
Honestly, Steve didn't quite know what to do with himself. Bucky was in his therapy session with Miss Frost leaving Steve on his own for a few hours at least. Part of him wanted to hover around the door just in case Miss Frost stumbled onto a trigger and the Winter Soldier reappeared but he had told himself he wouldn't do that. He would trust that Miss Frost knew what she was doing and that she wouldn't make such a horrible mistake. He also had to give Bucky space and independence. If Bucky needed him he had his phone and someone could find him. He had to let this happen.
Steve found a room with a lot of windows and sat down in a very expensive looking leather chair and brought out the small moleskin sketchbook he had brought with him. The best thing for the wait was to keep his hands busy. This wasn't really the sort of place he could go for a run and he hadn't seen any punching bags so he had drawing.
He started with the room around him. Landscapes were the easiest for him but instead of letting his mind drift he focused on getting the details perfect. He could focus on the details of the drawing and not how his best friend was possibly reliving years of trauma, physical and psychological torture. At least he wasn't completely useless at this.
