Constantine went down like a stone. There was very little you could do to stop yourself hitting the ground when you weren't expecting your legs to suddenly snap together. He 'oof'd' as he hit the tiles heavily, and rolled onto his back to look up at her, a clear mixture of shock and fear on his face that she'd actually turned her wand on him. Yet still, he couldn't stop his mouth, or the words that were pouring out of it. The last thing he needed to do when wandless was provoke her!
"More like protecting him from me!" He replied angrily, "Do you always pull your wand on people's backs Vane? Or did Ioan teach you that one?" His own wand was only a few feet away. He pushed back slightly with his arms, trying to edge closer. If it was a duel she wanted...
