Jamie was definitely blushing now. Before Theodore had come along, he'd barely given a second thought to such things. Now, though, the image of the two of them pressed into some shadowy alcove, close enough together that they looked like one body, popped unbidden into his head. He closed his eyes and pretended he didn't feel the sudden thrill that had run through him. The mug of cocoa went back on the ground so he didn't spill it, because his hands were shaking and he suddenly needed to touch Theodore. So, he curled the fingers of one hand against the pale skin at the back of the other boy's neck - something he'd wanted to do for a few minutes.
"Yeah," he chuckled nervously. "Well is right. Should I feel bad, given where we are and that this is only our second...meeting...in saying that...I might not mind? If we...ended up somewhere in that state? Not now, of course. But...you could teach me what to do and..." Jamie trailed off. He was so bad at this!
