Alice had been in the library when she said she'd meet Seamus by the Great Hall. She had thought about just telling him to meet her there, but the place was beginning to become rather crowded and Alice was a tiny little thing; she was easily lost in the giant bookshelves and crowds of people. Plus, she didn't do any work anyway, it would be a little bit complicated to explain what she was even doing there. What she was doing was on her list of things to take to her grave.
On her way to the Great Hall, she had a rather unfortunate run in with Peeves which resulted in her hair becoming a light pink. It suited her, but she was beyond unhappy with it. She hated Peeves more than anything else in the entire castle and the poltergeist knew it. He took whatever chance he had when Alice was around to call her something along the lines of 'dumb blonde'. The pink hair was the least of what Peeves had done to her, but it was annoying none the less.
When Alice finally got to the great hall, she looked around for Seamus, making a face when she didn't see him. She sat down, resting her back against the wall. She pulled out her wand, holding out a lock of her now pink hair. She twirled her wand a little bit, trying to think of a spell that would change her hair back to normal. She wasn't even sure what he had done to her hair. One second he was cackling about her being 'bubble brained' and the next thing she knew, he had zoomed passed her and her hair was pink. She sighed, putting her wand back. Maybe Seamus would have an idea of what to do about her hair, but she couldn't do anything but wait for him. While she did, she pulled a bag of Every Flavor Beans from one of her many pockets, picking around the bag for a strawberry mousse one.
