Ernie wasn't going to complain about her hold his hand, it was almost comforting the way her thumb ran over his hand. He tried not to blush.
"I'm sure you're parents want you to be happy, they're... they're just scared. I mean, most of them are so afraid of dying out, they just want the line to stay pure." Ernie said with a shrug.
"We could always tell our families that I have this stupid virus." He said slowly, "its not like they would know the truth, not until much later. Does any of your family have a journal? Because we cant send letters out... so it would be hard to do if they don't." He frowned.
