Who: Angelina & George When: Monday evening, after WWW closes Where: George's flat, above WWW What: Angelina stops by, emotions and such ahead.
Getting out of her flat was refreshing. Angelina had forgotten how pleasant and friendly Diagon Alley was. How many people, how many stores, how good it made her feel. Even though she was returning to Hogwarts for a different reason, Angelina was still feeling that familiar rush. Going back to Hogwarts was like curling up by a fire in an icy blizzard. While she loved being at home with her family, living alone had its down. It had its perks, of course, but Ang often got lonely. It was weird, not living with four other girls. And having countless guys just around the corner. Currently Ang had no idea where half her friends lived. Her owl did, so at least she could get owls to them. Not that she had really been writing, or had been written. It was a bit of a pathetic existence for Ang the past couple months. At least her teammates had wanted to go out for drinks every now and then. Without that, Angelina didn’t think she would have had any social life.
Speaking with Ginny was nice. Angelina had never been the best of friends with her, but they had always gotten along. In fact, there weren’t many people Angelina didn’t get along with. Unless they were Slytherin, or tried to interfere with her quidditch team. Like Umbridge. If there was one person in the world Angelina could have wished death upon, for many months it would have been Umbridge. Her hate had subsided slightly, although it was still under the surface. At the moment Angelina had been much more concentrated on her current team, and her grief. Four months was a long time to be sad, and Angelina realized she needed to get over it. Even if she wasn’t ready, or if she didn’t want to.
The evening was cool, and Angelina half wished she had a sweater. Or had bought one today. She was wearing capris and a t-shirt, which had been a bit hot during the day. Typical weather, never staying one thing! After spending a bit of time with Ginny, Ang had wandered off to do some more shopping. She had been toying with the idea of visiting George all day. She’d actually taken a few shots before deciding, hopefully shots which would calm her nerves. Climbing up the stairs, Ang realized she was shaking from nerves not from the cold. Taking the second deep breath of her day, Ang rapped at the door.
