Weirdly, Verity felt a little better to know that Sally had a reason to be this good at transfiguring cloth. Sometimes, even though she was a grown-up with a job and a life, it felt like she was still that kid who couldn't keep up with the class. But she and Sally were both Hufflepuffs- they worked to get what they had.
She carefully started shaping the fabric around Sally's lower torso and each of her legs. It was faster than doing it the muggle way, but still pretty painstakingly precise. Smiling, she glanced up at Sally from under her lashes. "C'mon, stick with our strengths. Leave the overthinking to the Ravenclaws. Aren't we all about heart?" It wasn't like she even knew Sally or her gentleman friend, but she already liked Sally, and everyone liked a happy ending.
