"I'm hurt," he said, putting a hand to his heart while the other wrapped around her shoulders. "You wound me, Astoria."
Though he never went anywhere with it, Julian flirted with anyone and everyone - both boys and girls. He wasn't looking for a relationship (Merlin, unless it was beneficial to him the work needed to keep one going just didn't seem worth it) but a little harmless flirting never hurt anyone. And at least it got him in people's good graces by sharing the love.
He hadn't heard anything to suggest otherwise, in any case.
Smirk widening as Astoria told him she didn't want to think about it, Julian leaned in close to whisper in her ear.
"I'm sure we can find something to distract you," he murmured suggestively, blowing lightly in her ear before backing off with a quiet laugh. It was a good thing he had backed off, for the next thing he knew another girl had jumped onto Astoria's back. Though he recognized the girl, he only vaguely remembered her name. Sarah or something, wasn't it? Obviously a friend of Astoria's, if she was able to jump on Astoria's back and live to tell about it.
