Astoria returned the smile, grateful he'd heard her. Though she did hope she hadn't been too loud. Not that anyone would care. "Hm, favorite? I'll hold you to that, you know," she laughed. Julian had a sense of humor, unlike certain other housemates she wouldn't name. She couldn't help but dislike the older students. They were much better friends with Daphne and she - well, she wasn't really her sister's friend. "Fine, considering. Though I prefer not to think about the current situation."
She didn't want to become sick simply because she was starting to consider it the equivalent of death. She couldn't, wouldn't, imagine her life without magic. She hoped her friends would be safe as well, but with the Ministry's decision she was sure they'd all end up sick eventually. It was only a matter of time. Astoria almost wished she didn't know something more would eventually come. Yet wishing was of no use.
She was on the verge of asking Julian where he was headed when she was suddenly thrown forward by a force on her back. Astoria cursed, loudly, while she tried to maintain her balance. She was grateful for the arms that balanced, knowing it could only be one person. No one else would dare to jump on her that way. "Perks," she snapped, in the most stern voice she could manage. Turning around, she glared at Sally, trying to contain the smile playing at her lips.
