What: Angelina comes by to shop and such
The past weeks had been terrible for Angelina. She felt like it was raining everyday, which only made her more gloomy. But quidditch practice at least got her out of her flat. Without that, Ang wasn’t sure if she would have ever left her flat. Of course, she assumed she would... but who knew? Certainly not her! Trips to the grocery store, the pharmacy, all the usual trips of course. But to see her friends? Angelina really hadn’t seen anyone since the battle. It was just so hard. She was in a bloody slump, and had no idea how to get out of it. Her mind constantly drifted to Fred – his hair, freckles, body, his laugh, his pranks... everything about him. Ang had thought about writing George nearly everyday, had picked up a pen a couple times, but her owl had remained in its cage. She had considered writing Molly, Ron, Ginny, Harry, Katie, Oliver, all her old friends. But she hadn’t. Simply put, Angelina had spent four months doing practically nothing.
Then the letter came. Offering her a job at Hogwarts. It took the weekend, but Ang had decided to take it. Not so much because she wanted to, more because she knew she needed to. Angelina needed to be surrounded by people, by smiles, by happiness. And where better to find that then Hogwarts? Half the students would be caught up in adolescent drama, the other half would be carefree and happy. Exactly the kind of atmosphere Angelina needed to snap out of her slump. It brought a smile to her face, a rare appearance these past few months. Just the thought of returning to Hogwarts warmed Angelina and caused her to get excited. She remembered feeling similar excitement every September. Yes, this was going to be a glorious decision.
With that, Angelina had decided to go to Diagon Alley. She might as well, right? Plus she’d be able to go to the Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, which would be nice to see. Dressed in capris and a simple t-shirt, Angelina strolled up to the store. Taking a deep breath, Angelina walked in. Crazy busy, as she expected. Glancing around, Angelina watched as students rushed by her. Students, her students. Feeling a smile creep on her lips, Angelina looked for George, Ginny, or Verity. Or anyone she knew. Letting her thumbs rest in her belt loops, Angelina began a slow walk around the store.
