"I get it. There has been some change, albeit minimal. But so what? That's not revolutionary. In the greater scheme of things, for the most part one person changing doesn't mean anything. It's wonderful for that one person and a handful of the people around them, but. I just think people are exaggerating when they talk about change. The media and the ministry wants it so badly, but that doesn't make it real. That doesn't mean that life is radically different for most people."
He sighed. He didn't mean to get so worked up over a minor comment, but he tended to latch onto something and run with it; he had never exactly learned to keep his mouth shut. But that was who he was. He was honest and opinionated and argumentative but he wasn't going to change for anyone.
