He didn't even notice the blush. If he had, he would have assumed that it was just from the cold- he certainly didn't make girls blush. But he really wasn't observant enough to notice little things like that, especially when he wasn't trying.
"Not anymore?" He repeated, unable to hide the amusement in his voice. He supposed he could be offended, but he didn't really care. It didn't really matter what the Slytherins thought of him or his house, and it wasn't worth getting irritated over. And Millicent didn't seem to share her house's opinion anyway; she was, after all, talking to him. "And what did we do to elevate our status?"
"I really don't think that much has changed though," he continued, more seriously this time. "There's all of this talk about change, of moving on and making things better. And yeah, there's no longer a war, but things around here really aren't that different. Obviously the war has affected all of us, and there are a few people who've changed, but really, what has been accomplished?"
