On reflection, the last few months had been quite crippling. Draco really didn't know how his life had turned into such a mass of factors. Before, the days when all there was was money, annoying Potter and being a good boy for his father, things were so easy. Really easy. To go from such a smooth path to the one he was currently on was, in his opinion, deeply unfair. There was only so much he could deal with at any one time.
Currently he was in the library. He hadn't been in there for a long time, but it was his duty to lurk where students could find him and he knew as well as everyone else that no one went to the library on a Sunday. And here he could sit and muse in privacy over what he was doing with his life, his parents, Pansy and his feelings for her, his suddenly complicated relationship with Theodore and the infuriating ache that reminded him he hadn't seen Harry in a while.
But in all seriousness, he was pretty sure he hadn't done anything to deserve this. He was now happily wallowing in self pity, staring out of the window at a sky that more than accurately reflected this mood. He snorted. He hated irony.
