With his humming and the lyrics to the tune filling his head, Ioan didn't notice Millicent until she was nearly on top of him and was falling. He skidded to a stop over some loose lake-edge detritus, nearly losing his own balance. As he steadied himself, he took a closer look at her and frowned. What was with this running into Slytherins so often? First Constantine, then Daphne and Tracey. Who was next? It was strange! He was seeing more of them than he was his own housemates these days.
Biting the inside of his lip, he weighed his options. He could be completely rude and not do anything, which was what most Slytherins he knew would do - or at least, had in the past. On the other hand, he could help her up and possibly have a nice conversation, which was what seemed to be happening more often. Constantine Rivers being the sole exception.
"Yn gwaedu annfwn," he muttered. "Are you all right?"
Stepping closer without getting too close, Ioan extended a hand to help Millicent up.
