Blaise felt his cheeks heat in embarrassment. He was ashamed of what had happened in the Prefects' bath a few weeks earlier. Not remorseful to that Gryffindor brat in the least, but it did stain his own reputation.
"Of course," he assured her, and was sincere. He had every intention of indeed having a flawless year, in that respect. While it was true he desired retribution for the incident with Demelza, it could wait. Blaise was a patient man.
"I realize I failed to live up to your expectations," Blaise admitted. He could own up to his failures, but it still stung. "I do not intend to repeat my mistake, Professor."
