"Oh." She wasn't sure what to say. It didn't bother her, per say, but she was surprised. She wondered how long Sally had known, who she'd told, who she liked. Astoria downed her cup of firewhisky, relishing in the momentary distraction. Her throat burned and she could feel the alcohol going to her head, but she didn't particularly care at the moment.
She cleared her throat and stared at Sally. "They'd appreciate it too, I guess." She wanted to say something else. She wanted Sally to know that it was okay but for the moment her mind was drawing blanks. She didn't think Sally liked her that way, she was sure she would have at least noticed that.
