Ang had been so caught up in her own feelings, the mixture of emotions running through her, and her grief that she hadn't noticed George's reaction to her touch. Nor had she really realized what was going on around her. A student could have walked through that door, and Angelina probably wouldn't have noticed. There was a limit for Angelina's mind, and she was just about there. Ang had no idea what she was feeling. Was she only feeling this pull to George because of her grief? Or would it have shown up eventually? Angelina couldn't help but lean towards the latter option. Even though George had always just been her friend, her teammate, there was something different about him too. Ang never went to him like she had Katie or Oliver.
Lifting her hand, Angelina let her forehead fall into it. "I don't know what came over me George, it... it just happened." Angelina's voice was tired, matching the exhaustion her body was beginning to feel. Looking up, Angelina caught George's gaze. She couldn't be sure but she thought maybe, just maybe, that it really had been okay to kiss him. That he didn't mind. But did that mean he wanted another? Or more? Merlin! What the bloody hell was going on with her?
"We should, uh..." Angelina started before realizing she had nothing to say. Her palms were sweating, and Ang wiped them on her pants. Feeling her palm would do better slapping her in the face, Ang walked towards her desk and sat in the chair. What now?
