Similarly to George, Angelina had done her best to avoid all those places. The Great Hall was impossible, of course. Thankfully, Angelina had no reason to return to the Gryffindor Tower, and she had managed to find hallways around the once infamous lake. Angelina may be coping better and smiling more, but she wasn't daft. It wouldn't take much to make her heart ache or her eyes well up, and Ang didn't want any of the students to see. Now, it didn't matter so much. All the people left were once her classmates, some had been her housemates. Angelina was beginning to think it would be acceptable to walk down the corridors crying.
While holding onto George's hand, Angelina let her body sink to the floor. She didn't want to stand anymore, and she didn't think she had the strength to. Shooting George a look, Angelina sighed. "All right, fine. I'm doing bloody terrible. I liked her George, I really did. She was always good to me, always helped me out, and it always felt like she was on my side even when she wasn't." Angelina's voice was rushed, and she managed to make it all the way to the last word before her voice cracked.
Following that, it didn't take long for tears. At the moment they fell slowly and without noise. Using the back of her hand, Ang wiped her face a few times. "It just... brings up a lot," Angelina finished.
