Zacharias was, he must admit, still a little perplexed as to why Millicent asked him for his notes. Even if Pansy would have lectured her, surely Draco or Blaise or Daphne would have been willing to help her. That's what friends were for. While he had enjoyed talking to her the other day, he and Millicent were not exactly friends so it struck him as odd that she would ask him. But maybe she just felt uncomfortable asking the Slytherins. He couldn't blame her; they weren't exactly his favorite people in the world. Of course, it never occurred to her that she had some ulterior motive. His mind simply didn't work like that. He didn't play games, he didn't lie, he had no reason to think that something else was going on here, and he himself was far too upfront about things. Millicent said she wanted to copy his notes, and he took her words at face value.
He didn't mind helping her out though. It wasn't like he had anything better to do, and he was rather looking forward to seeing her. He hadn't quite figured her out yet, but she was interesting, and she seemed different from the other girls in Slytherin. If this afternoon was anything like their conversation over journals, it would be a memorable afternoon to say the least.
It wasn't difficult to find her out in the courtyard, and he made his way over to her. "Hey," he greeted, flashing her a smile as he took a seat besides her. "I come bearing charms notes. I didn't keep you waiting too long, did I?"
