Taking in the damage, Verity winced. Nothing that looked life-threatening, and she was grateful she'd thought to protect their faces, but Nicky was still a real mess.
"You want me to take care of that? Or maybe we better head to Pomfrey," she said, noting how much of the glass had hit the thin skin of his arms. She tried to catch his eye, smiling calmly, thinking of the last time she'd tried to bring a guy to the infirmary. "I should go too. hard to magic glass out of my own back." She turned a little to show him. "Walk me there like a gentleman, hey?"
