Nicky sucked in a breath as the bubble head charm appeared over his head. He hadn't been expecting that, and while he was thankful for it, he did feel a bit trapped and suffocated. Taking in a deep breath, he realized that he could breath just normally, even with the bubble. The was a relief.
Though where he was standing in the closet, somehow he had managed to worm his whole self in and around to the other side of the small stand Verity had set up in there, he was really quite small, a glare from the partially opened door kept hitting the bubble wrong. There was a glare in his eye that was really becoming annoying. Trying to position his head just right as to avoid the glare, Nicky didn't see the explosion of glass this time. He heard it, but by that time, the glass was already flying out in all directions.
There wasn't anywhere for him to go, what with being all the way at the back of the cupboard. He covered his face instinctively, ducking down. The glass shards rained down on his as well as flew out towards him in a rush, slicing open the skin it came into contact with, cutting holes into his shirt.
