Verity thought of that list she had tucked into the side of her school-issue trunk. On that list of names, she had one circled: Nicholas Derek. A student who had the virus, and therefore probably still had it living, hibernating, inside of him. And one who... didn't say no much.
With a smile, she offered, "In that case, you could always stick around. I've a project." She gestured at the reparo-ed glass. "It's a bit fiddly."
