Neville looked up at her. "D-don't you get it?" He sighed, the stutter was starting to fade but it still came up occasionally. "She needs me n-now, but what about in twenty years and I c-can't keep a job and she has to do something she doesn't like to make the m-money we need to p-pay or the wolfsbane. W-what about when the wolfsbane d-doesn't work and I destroy the house or... or h-hurt h-her."
He didn't notice the tears trailing down his face as he continued, a little softer than before. "What about w-when people start to t-turn away from her because she's with me, o-or our kids get m-made fun of because of me." He closed his eyes and let his head fall, "I-I can't do that to h-her."
