Who: Padma and Parvati When: Monday Afternoon Where: The corridor What: Talking Rating: Low Status: Incomplete
Padma neatly packed up her books, arranging them in alphabetical order in her bag. Her notes followed and last her quills were tucked carefully into the bag. She was so nervous about talking to Parvati. Padma knew her sister was unhappy with her. Unhappy because she couldn't be like Lavender was. Padma wasn't ever going to care about the things that interested Parvati and she knew as long as Lavender had been alive it was okay. They didn't have to worry about how different they were because there was someone else there to be a better sister to Parvati than Padma could.
Perhaps she'd never really allowed herself to think about it much. But after Lavender's death, Padma couldn't help but hate how upset her sister was. She hated herself for being jealous. She wanted to be the most important person in Parvati's life and she didn't feel like she was.
Sighing to herself, Padma put her bag over her shoulder and walked out of the classroom. She missed her sister. She missed having Parvati to talk to. Padma didn't quite function correctly without Parvati around that that much was obvious from the heavy circles under her eyes. Without Parvati around there was no one telling her to study less and no one to give her creams to hide the bags under her eyes.
Seeing her sister waiting for her, Padma felt her nerves increase. She managed a small smile before walking over to her twin. "Hi, Pati."
