He wrapped his other arm around her when she hugged him, holding her close. "I know. Thank you." He'd done it all for them, and for everyone else who'd lost someone to Voldemort and that stupid war. Even though he knew his parents would never be able to realize that, it was still worth it.
"My Gran is... she's kind of old fashioned, very strict. It's been better now that I'm a little older. Both of my parents were only children, I have a few Great Aunts and Uncles but that was really it for family."
He smiled at her compliment. He hadn't told many people and was still a little nervous about whether he'd be any good or not. "I haven't really thought about it other than I know I'd want more than one. I always wanted a sibling growing up."
He watched her as she stared at the sky. She was beautiful like that, completely relaxed and just laying against him, the sun shining over her face and a light blush on her cheeks from the cold. He listened to her quietly as she spoke. He hugged her close again as she finished, "I'm sorry you didn't get to see her. I... I miss seeing my parents too. I usually would visit them over holidays. I know its not the same but I do wish I could see them." He didn't mention the fact that they hadn't been doing to well the last time he did see them, mostly because he didn't like talking about it. "It must be hard, knowing she's right down the road but not being able to see her. I...I can't wait until we can get out of here."
