"Nope..." Oliver didn't think this was really the place or the time to voice his decidedly negative feelings, "it's just that it's getting dark," he added quietly mostly for Percy but loud enough so Verity wasn't completely cut off from the conversation, "and I don't like you being out alone..."
That sounded so possessive and borderline controlling and he felt a bit awkward having said it. It was partly true. He hated that Percy walked back to their room from the library alone every night... but usually near the end of the day Percy sent him away. It was kind of a tradition.
