Taff sat on the low hanging branch of the tree that sat wistfully in the middle of the courtyard, dreaming about its lost leaves. He conjured himself a few candles and scattered them across the ground to light the area a little better. The mist wasn't as thick here, but it was still misty.
Constantine sat bundled up in a huge, cuddly jumper his brother had brought him a couple of Christmases ago, and in his hands he clutched one of his brother's cameras, one Tristan had apparently gotten as a gift from someone. The details were vague...
Tristan didn't know he'd taken it and Taff wasn't usually one to borrow the cameras. They were precious, important to Tristan. They paid their rent and kept them clothed. Taff wasn't stupid enough to put them at risk.
But now he was bored, sitting around without magic. Writing essays on spells because he couldn't practice the spells themselves. Fuck that. It was stupid.
He held the camera up to his eye and framed the shot of a candle, the flame flickering and casting a beautiful orange glow over the frost on the grass. He snapped the shot, knowing that he was wasting his brother's film, but finding it difficult to care.
