The sudden intrusion on Romilda's mind was awful. She felt so incredibly exposed. As Hermione searched for what was missing she kept finding memories Romilda would rather have not shared with anyone. She felt as though she was running from one memory to the next, trying to throw a blanket over the images in her mind so Hermione couldn't see them.
She wanted to tell the other girl to stop. To get out of her head and go away, but Romilda knew this was important. It was the only way to solve the problem. She tried her best to keep Ioan's image in the front of her mind, but it wasn't easy. It was as though Hermione was stomping around inside of her head and Romilda could barely focus.
It took every last nit of willpower she had not to snap at Hermione. Of course she was thinking about Ioan. "Yes," she said tensely.
