Verity breathed out slowly. Yeah, of course. Percy thought Oliver was worth it. Sally was convinced Harold was. Maybe this explained why she herself wasn't in a serious relationship. Maybe it just required putting up with crap.
"And he's working out stuff," she repeated. "I wonder who he's got to talk to when he's all-" She made a squiggly little gesture with her right hand, meant to express Harold's state of mind. "I mean, if he's not telling you, then..."
In the back of her mind, though, she was thinking about challenging Wayne to a good, geeky, fake sword fight. Maybe- if she could manage subtle- she could do a little good on that end.
