Who: Verity and Percy
Where: The Library
When: Backdated to Monday
What: Percy needs to talk to someone.
Status/Rating: Incomplete, low
Of all the people to find developing into a friend, or something like a friend, Percy never would have expected it to be Verity Jones. Her bookkeeping for George's shop had been abysmal. And yet, he found her developing into just that. How or why, he didn't know. Friendships and relationships in general were one of those things that, quite frankly, could not be picked apart and analyzed. They seemed to defy logic and reason.
But Percy was too busy feeling ashamed of himself and humiliated to begin searching for the reason or the rational. All he needed was a friend, someone to talk to. Someone who might understand, offer sympathy, or tell him to budge up.
When he spotted the familiar blond crop of hair, Percy sank down into the seat right next to Verity. The library served only as a reminder of the lunatic he became in his dream, but it wasn't as though they could take a nice stroll outside with a murderer afoot.
"Hi," mumbled Percy.
