Ernie nodded and reached for his bag, "Yeah, I don't mind if you look at my notes, what subjects do you need?" He asked pulling out a thick pile of parchment papers. The papers were organized by subject (sub filed by date, most recent on top). He placed them on top of the table and looked over at Megan chewing on his lip, "if they don't make any sense, I can always help you study you know. I wouldn't mind." He said with a shrug of his shoulders, he didn't want Megan to fail.
Ernie watched her carefully for a few moments, "Have you been okay?" He asked slowly, "You haven't been... yourself since you fell ill and we've all been really worried about you." He told her honestly. He knew that his choice of words had a certain lack of tact and Megan would react one of two ways: she would either get upset and push him away, or she would tell him what was on her mind. He hoped for the second option.
