Who: Percy and [OPEN TO EVERYONE] Where: The library in dreamland When: Sunday night What: Partying it up in the library! Status/Rating: Incomplete, we'll see
The library shelves were pushed together against the walls. Someone had charmed the ceiling to look like the ceiling in the Great Hall, an open view of nothing but the brilliant sparkling heavens above. The tables were off to the sides of the room, holding food and refreshments. Madame Pince's circulation counter had been converted into an open bar. There was glitter and flashing lights and music – not the classical music Percy preferred, either. It was the kind of music that made your body dance even if you didn't comprehend half the lyrics.
And it was all in the library.
Something should have seemed horribly wrong about all of it. Something should have seemed even wronger about the strange mesh material covering his chest, but not his navel. Not to mention the obscenely tight trousers clinging to his legs. Something should have seemed very unforgivably wrong about those.
But to Percy, it all seemed quite all right. He felt strangely comfortable in his get-up, and he was excited to see people filter into the library and make some noise. The more noise, the better. Why not? It was a party!
