At that, he almost had to laugh. Instead he settled for a soft snort and a smirk, though he averted his eyes. Aurora didn't need to see the bitterness shining there. Leith smiled a lie, that he was joking, breathing it out through his teeth. He could hardly suggest burning the place down.
