Demelza closed the journal and just laid their for a few moments. She was supposed to go see Neville, she wanted to go see Neville, she didn't want to be alone, but moving seemed so pointless for a moment. She couldn't fight off Bole when she had her magic, what was the point of trying now? She remembered what is was like to be in Boles hands. She had still had her magic then, and he disarmed her, disarmed her and Romilda and then burried them under ground for who knows how long. All she could do was wait, wait for him to finally catch her, wait for him to destroy her. It was all just a long, drawn out wait to die. Demelza shuttered just thinking about it. Bole had been looking for her. Bole had been looking for her and found Lavender Brown and killed her. Demelza's chest ached. She had been crying since Bole first made it clear that he was looking for her, but it only got worse with her brief conversation with Parvati. It was her fault that Lavender died, she didn't deserve forgiveness from Parvati or any of Lavenders friends.
Wiping the tears from her face, Demelza finally stood and slowly made her way down the stairs to the common room. She hoped that Parvati weren't down there, she couldn't handle seeing the look on the mourning girls face. She was glad to see Neville at the bottom of the stair well, but she couldn't be bothered to smile at him. Finally getting to where he was she wrapped her arms around him and burried her face in his chest. She didn't know what else to do.
