"No," she breathed, trying her best to steady herself. "I'm not freaking out. Well, not really. I mean..." Her brow furrowed as he tried to find the words. "It's one thing to have 'forever' engraved in a locket from your boyfriend. It's something entirely different to have you actually plan your life around our future together. It means a lot to me, and I guess... I was just surprised by it."
Lisa bit her lip and slid off of his lap. She reached for her bag, pulling the career book out of her bag. It was an interactive book that helped to choose magical careers for the holder of the text. "I was thinking about... the future, as well. I wanted to pass the MLES hitwizard exam since sixth fifth year. Just because I pass the exam, especially without Auror training, which I'm not, at all interested in... that means I'd be freelancing, and though I would be employed, for larger tasks, I'm not first pick. Aurors with hitwizard training are. I'm just... private security for private business. Though, I'll get paid really well, assuming I pass, I only get a few jobs every so often unless I get a contract. So, I'll be pretty much... unemployed more often than not." She paged through the book. "So, I do want to be certified, but it's good to have a back up. Maybe something to do if plans fall through. And you can only be a hitwizard for a few years. It's not a very family or friend friendly career." She continued to page through the text. "I figure I have five years before my mom demands I quit, and another five more before I have to undergo some sort of Auror training, as well. After then, If I don't and I'm not already privately contracted, then it'll be pretty pointless to continue. I won't be getting paid nearly enough, nor will I have the opportunity to work. So... I've been re-assessing my life."
