Who: Ginny Weasley and Neville Longbottom What: Neville's really not coping Where: Neville's dorm When: Mid-afternoon, September 2nd Rating: Low
There had been a couple of people that Ginny hadn't really seen over the summer that she wished she'd kept a closer eye on. As of about 15 minutes ago, Neville Longbottom was one of those people. Yes, they'd been there during the battle, side by side for some of it and doing what they could to stay alive. But afterwards, Ginny really had no idea what Neville had been doing for the last few months, and that realisation made her feel quite guilty.
She hadn't been far away when she'd read his entry, boredom leading her to accidentally breaking his weak hex and stumbling into something that was obviously private. For a moment, she contemplated just ignoring it. But someone else might read it, and she knew that Neville wouldn't want that. She couldn't turn a blind eye to what he'd written either.
When she arrived on the threshold of his dorm, she slowed, and approached his bed slowly. "Neville?" she asked quietly.
