That wasn't what Hermione had expected to hear. She didn't know what she'd expected, but this was definitely not it. Her eyes widened as he kept speaking, and it was a moment before she realised he'd stopped yelling.
"Because clearly, you're going to disappear once you enter the Muggle world, right?" It was Hermione's turn to yell. She never could speak quietly when someone else rose their voice at her. "Because I'm definitely not going to want to go out there again! And what about us, what if we catch the virus too, then you'll have made yourself all alone and for no good reason because we'll be in the Muggle world too! Which is an argument we shouldn't be having anyway, because they will come up with something to reverse this!" She stood to face him squarely, daring him to look her in the eye to continue this stupidity. "And if they don't, Neville, then we'll still have each other, because we're friends! And if you DARE disappear on me because of this, I'm going to be VERY VERY UPSET!"
