Taff gave Ioan a surprised look, for a moment not sure if he believed. But then Ioan wasn't a liar was he? He wasn't the sort of guy who would give a false apology was he?
He chewed his lip and nodded, "Yeah. I'm sorry too...." He clutched the clothes and turned around, pulling off his shirt without bothering to wait for Ioan to leave the room. He assumed his classmate would leave, but it didn't bother him. He'd spent enough time in the Quidditch locker room to not be bothered by other guys near him when he changed.
"They made mistakes, and I've been the one paying for them," Taff said softly, "Me and Tristan. Our whole lives." He shivered, skin covered in goosepimples, and unfolded Ioan's shirt slowly, contemplating why he still possessed the bitterness towards his parents.
