Taff flinched and stepped back involuntarily. He'd forgotten about that, or chosen to ignore it. Either way, it took him by surprise. He opened his mouth to say something angry and hurtful back, but he couldn't.
He couldn't muster it. He sighed, his breath freezing the second it left his lips. "I didn't though," Taff replied, looking down at the perfect snow covering the grass of Ioan's garden, "I could've done a lot of things, but I didn't did I?" He leaned down and scooped up a handful of snow, packing into a ball. It was only when he held the snow that he realised just how cold it was getting. With a slight shiver he looked at Ioan again, "Whatever. Maybe you should just get lost Cadwallader."
