Padma sat up, her eyes red and watery. "Getting married so soon. Maybe we are rushing things. We have our whole lives to spend together. I know it was my idea. I'm just saying that perhaps I was wrong."
Padma wasn't convinced that she had been long. She understood the reasoning behind a later wedding. Logically it was the right decision. There was little sense in getting married while limited to the quarantine. But it had felt so right.
