"Oh, don't do that. I would miss you too terribly much if you went back home." Never let it be said that Anthony wasn't a very self-centered person. Indeed, he was, though he also knew when to turn it down and let something be about someone else for a change. Slip-ups happened though, and he really didn't want Ioan going home, mostly for selfish reasons. Though there were some good, honest and unselfish reasons as well that centered on Ioan needing to get over his fears and the like.
"I think she'll be a Ravenclaw and I'm very excited for her. It's the first time in years I cannot wait for the sorting ceremony." Anthony brightened as they started to talk about the little girl. "I have no idea what to get her. Just a few weeks ago, she would have adored a doll, but now she's going to Hogwarts and... well, she's too old for that now that she's eleven!" Anthony always resorted to girly items for his sister, sure that they would please her. What was it that eleven year old witches really wanted anyway? "Mum just got her an owl so that's out." He shrugged.
"Yeah, definetly come with me!" Now that he had found his friend, he wasn't just going to leave him there, especially not with that scared, pleading look on his face. Anthony loved him just far too much to leave him behind like that, alone.
