He watched Harry pick Teddy up - pick up a whole little person, it was fascinating - and hold him so carefully. Of course he had to hold him carefully, Draco mused. It was a baby.
But he was apprehensive about holding him himself. He and Harry were taking small little steps to actually being companionable, to actually being friends with each other, and dropping Harry's beloved Godson wasn't going to help that in any way.
He shook his head. "I...I'm worried I'll hurt him," he chuckled, taking a step closer instead, offering his finger to Teddy to chew on, grinning as he felt the little boy gumming at him, clearly quite approving of this new person in his life. "Everything about him is so small, isn't it? Look at his fingers-" Draco marvelled at the baby and his hands, his nose and ears, all so tiny!
