After her lunch with Angelina, Katie had decided to stay in Diagon Alley for a few more days. On that particular day she was outside, wandering about a bit aimlessly. In a few hours she planned to stop by WWW, and honestly she wasn't sure why she didn't just head over there now. It was one of those things where she simply felt later would be better than sooner. Her feet led her to Quality Quidditch Supplies, a place that she had been considering taking a job opening at. She knew more than enough about Quidditch, but she held herself back because while she wouldn't mind selling supplies to others, she would rather be actually playing. Her dream of playing with the Holyhead Harpies was closer than it had ever been, and that was also one of the reasons she hesitated from taking the job at the supply store. It was informal, the meeting she'd had with the Harpies captain, but it was enough to give her hope.
As she neared the shop she saw a boy who couldn't have been too much younger than she standing so close to the glass window staring into the shop that she couldn't help but smile. Not knowing if anything in particular had caught his eye, but recognizing the adoring look, Katie couldn't resist the urge to start a conversation with him. While she had no idea who he was, and he didn't look the least bit familiar to her, that had never stopped her from being friendly before, and it wasn't going to now. Stopping just short of him, Katie glanced into the store, her eyes landing on several items that she had safely at home waiting to be used. Her smile was still on her face when she said, "You know, everything looks much better when you're on the other side of the glass looking at it."
