Who: Gabriel Bole What: SETTING FIRE TO THE SCHOOL! Where: The Greenhouses When: Whilst you were sleeping.... Rating: Bole. Complete
Bole was getting bored, all alone in the forest. And a bored Bole was a dangerous Bole. He slipped through the darkness like an eel through water, a patch of night that had broken free. His cloak was stained with dark patches of blood, but it didn't bother him. His appearance was no longer his concern. He had come here to hurt and to kill, and they were so close, but just that little bit out of his reach.
He was getting angry.
And so, he decided to stir up a panic, because fear was what he thrived on. It was the water he drank and the food he ate, and he was so certain he needed it to survive that he would gladly attempt to prove it.
He slipped through the night and the grounds, a shadow, circling around the school like a shark choosing when to strike. Finally he stopped and pointed his wand at the building.
"Incendio Maxima! Reducto!" He called, voice echoing against the stone walls of the castle. Walls that had just been rebuilt, and now were going to burn.
The wave of fire that emerged from the tip of his wand was like a tsunami of flames. The leapt and danced over each other, white hot and scalding blue and fiery gold. The washed over the grass and enveloped the Greenhouses.
The explosion rocked through the night, shattering the calm like the glass walls. Fire, glass and stone showered against the side of the school, bursting through windows into corridors on the east side, the first and second floors.
And all the while, Bole giggled. His eyes flashed, reflecting the fires as he admired his work. Oh it was so beautiful! The greenhouses were almost entirely destroyed, and the plants within that could, were screaming their agonies as they withered.
And then he was gone, like a shadow, whisking himself back to to the forest trees, where he vanished like a ghost, or a Cheshire Cat, his smile, so wide and cruel, disappearing last.
